Time for a Beach Read? Come to the Book Festivals!

I love to travel and enjoy going to the beach in the summer. Whether “down the Shore” here in New Jersey or further away.

Along with the travel essentials I think that I will need, I’m sure to bring a few books. Whether eBooks on my Kindle or print books,  which I generally prefer, they are a travel necessity for me.

One of the best places to find a good book could be your local public library, on-line, or at book festivals. There are a number of such festivals in the tri state region.

I’ve been in them as both an author and as a reader. It’s fun!

The Passaic County Book Festival is this month. June 14th from 11 AM to 4 PM. It’s a free event worth going to!

There will be family friendly activities like arts and crafts, story time for kids, meet-and-greets with authors, and food vendors with a variety of foods.

There will be a lot of authors representing all kinds of genres, books for adults, teens, and children. I was invited to participate as an author and to be on a panel with other YA authors. I’m excited to be there. I know I’ll be getting a few beach reads too!
